Fly Fishing
Hill Farm is blessed with over a mile of frontage on the Battenkill River, famed for being the home of Orvis as well as beautiful brown and brook trout. We have teamed with the skilled and affable guides from Trico Unlimited to offer our guests on-site fly fishing lessons and/or guided days on the river.

Lawn & Games
Hill Farm has over three acres of great green lawns adjacent to the Inn and Restaurant. It's a great place for relaxing in the sun or shade in our Adirondack chairs, or enjoying a game of croquet, bag-o or badminton.
THE RESTAURANT AT HILL FARM
Eat.
We opened The Restaurant at Hill Farm in 2022 to offer our guests fine, farm-to-table dining and a full service bar. Chef Austin Poulin curates seasonal menus showcasing the best of Southern Vermont’s fresh produce and meats. The Restaurant is blessed with beautiful views of the farm and the surrounding Green Mountains. The Restaurant is open for dinner four nights a week and offers outdoor seating when the weather permits.

Our guests can choose from a broad and diverse range of nearby activities from hiking and biking the Taconic mountain trails to skiing at nearby peaks to fly fishing on the Battenkill River.
